As part of its green strategic initiatives, Mongolia’s leading company, “Mongolyn Alt (MAK)” LLC, is implementing advanced energy solutions from Huawei, one of the world’s leading technology providers, with the goal of covering up to 50% of its energy consumption through renewable and clean energy sources. In this episode of the Mining Connection program, we highlight the collaboration and development efforts between MAK and Huawei, which are establishing a new paradigm for green development within Mongolia’s mining industry. This project has become the largest private sector-led solar power plant in Northeast Asia. Not only does this initiative mark a significant milestone for MAK, but it also signifies a new era of sustainable development within Mongolia’s mining sector, exemplifying the country’s commitment to a green revolution.
